Victtoria di Sangue

This is Italian couture at its peak. Vittoria di Sangue is a blood-red structured silk faille gown with a corseted bodice shaped like a Roman cuirass — boned, sculpted, and hand-stitched with metallic gold thread in a crumbling fresco motif. A high slit cuts through a double-layered train — one layer sheer, one velvet. The sleeves are exaggerated, slit open from the shoulders and cascading in twisted, burnt silk organza like ruined cathedral banners. The neckline is sharp, the back low. Every step is a declaration.
